The Board of Directors are made up of member representatives from within NPIP. There are seven seated Board positions, each from different regions within the state of Washington. 2020 Board Elections
Each member organization has designated an individual who is eligible to vote on behalf of your organization. Each member organization is encouraged to vote for each open position. Voting closes on March 26, 2020.
Letter from the Director: 2020 Elections of the Board
Positions in the 2020 Election:
Region 4 Position, Jon Andrus, Catholic Charities Eastern Washington
At Large 2 Position, Mike Heinisch, Kent Youth and Family Services
Region 2 Position, Cheryl Hamilton, Educational Opportunities for Children and Families
Eligibility: The designee of any NPIP member can run for a position in the region in which the organization is located or provides services to. Members can also run for an At-Large position, regardless of regional location. All board positions have a four-year term (June 1, 2020 - May 31, 2024). Meetings are held across Washington; there are four board meetings held quarterly (two of which are held at the end of board planning retreats) and an annual all member meeting held via webinar.
Ballots: The ballots will be handled via electronic voting format and in accordance with Washington Administrative Code (WAC) 200-150. The ballots will open for voting on March 1, 2020 and will close April 1, 2020.
Results: The result of the election will be announced at the April 29, 2020 Board meeting in accordance with WAC 200-150-02023. Interested applicants will be notified of the results following the meeting.
